Clothing is dependent on weather conditions day of, layering is recommended to be able to adjust with activity levels and weather conditions
Warm clothing (layers): Detailed information (The Secret of Layering for Cold Weather (takemecamping.org) )
base layer
top: thermal top
bottom: thermal bottom aka "long johns"
mid layer(s)
top: sweater or fleece
bottom: pants (avoid cotton or jeans, if possible)
outer layer
top: winter jacket or waterproof shell
bottom: snowpants or waterproof shell
2 pairs of socks, one thin, one thick, not cotton (if your boots fit with 2 pairs on)
Winter hat
Mask
Balaclava or scarf
Mitts
Thin gloves in pocket for knot tying/eating
Insulated winter boots. These should be lined, have waterproof bottoms with high tops, tucked under snow pants.
Troop NECKER, visible around the neck, secured with a woggle or friendship knot

2 milk bags (can be put into boots between socks and boot liners if boots get wet so extra socks will stay dry)
If it is icy, cleats and a helmet are strongly recommended

OOS: Physical Fitness Forms
Scouters/OOS/Patrols will be responsible bringing their meals for the day. Hot Chocolate will be available on-site.
