Scouts

• Welcome to the Klondike Derby. For this event you are a Prospector and part of the sled pulling patrol.  Your patrols  goal is to travel to the Klondike, overcome challenges encountered  in towns along the way, using skills the you have learned in Scouts. How well you do in comparison with other patrols will determine if you are awarded a trophy. (click here for Awards)

WHAT YOU NEED:

• • A Sled, in which you will pack the needed equipment, clothes, and food for the journey.

  • Your Sled will need to be packed and secure as your first stop

  • Clothes and personal gear. Check the Kit List for both your personal gear, food and clothes,

  • Equipment. The Patrol will be responsible for packing their sled and securing all equipment, so if the sled is turned upside down nothing will fall out. Click here for the (Sled List)  

  • A Schedule 

• All participants will receive a crest as a memento of the event. (Past Crests)
