Klondike Gold
An old prospector has hidden gold nugget in cans, but they have filled with water and frozen! Rescue the gold and take your treasure!
Carleton Place Troop
Trail Marking
Your team is on the hunt for the Yeti. To prevent getting lost you must mark the trail behind you in such a way that the team doesn’t get lost in the dense woods and snow.
1st Drummond Troop
Baby Yeti Escape
Youth must traverse a crevasse with the sled using ropes, a pulley and ingenuity, before the Momma Yeti arrives to claim the Yeti Baby you found in the woods.
1st Carp Jade Dragon Troop
Whiteout
With all sled members blindfolded except one, the “seer” guides the team through obstacles. Good test of teamwork and communication.

Find your Bearings
Several points will be marked on the ground. Using a map, the Scout must align the map to north, take a bearing to a point on the map, and in real life determine which marker is closest to that point.

Shelter Building
Sleds will be asked to build a emergency shelter using provided ropes, tarps, poles and natural materials (if available at the station location)
1st Kanata Beaverbrook Troop
Ice Safety and Rescue
Demonstration of knowledge and skills with respect to ice safety, the "cold shock response", and hypothermia through a short period of questions and discussion. The bulk of the activity will be on the youth doing (learning) various rescues:
self rescue (and time to incapacitation)
chain rescue (and why that's a poor idea)
board (reaching object) rescue
rope rescue
ladder rescue
7th Kanata Troop & Company
Dartboard Challenge
Lash the three LONG spars together, and set them up to form a tripod. Then lash the SHORT spar across two of the long ones for the dartboard to sit on. Put up the dartboard, and record the highest score in three rounds of three darts.

Knot Challenge
Each team will have to demonstrate 5 knots, and be able to explain what they are used for.

Slingshot Contraption
The patrol will lash together a pioneering structure capable of launching a tennis ball using slingshot bands at the target. Structure needs to stand on it's own.
2nd Smiths Falls Troop
Saw & Axe Challenge
Patrols demonstate saw and axe knowledge and skills. patrols can complete to see which team can saw the fastest through similar sized logs.
